Proofreading is the final step before you format your manuscript for self-publishing or send it to an agent. I make sure any technical/mechanical mistakes missed or introduced by previous edits are fixed, leaving you with a clean, error-free manuscript.

Proofreading includes:

  • Spacing/Formatting Issues

Proofreading starts at $0.01 USD per word. Projects requiring more work or a quicker turnaround time may cost more. Minimum $50 proofreading fee.

Copy Editing

Copy editing is the last editing step before your manuscript is proofread. I look at your manuscript word-by-word to ensure that all information is correct and flows well.

Copy editing includes:

  • Word Repetition

  • Internal Inconsistencies

  • Fact Checking

  • Grammar

  • Spelling

  • Punctuation

  • Word Choice

  • Syntax

  • Clarity

Copyediting starts at $0.02 USD per word. Projects requiring more work or a quicker turnaround time may cost more. Minimum $100 copyediting fee.
